Cherries, Cristal and Dom Perignon - Large

Fame and flavour collide in our latest collaboration with Cristal & Dom Pérignon that's a joy to give and a pure delight to receive! This lavish hamper teems with a bounty of flawless Snowgoose Cherries that have been indulged with extra days to ripen on the trees. During this time, they grow larger than regular cherries, amass more sugar content and develop an outstanding amount of juicy flesh.

Nestled among the cherries are a bottle of rare Louis Roederer Cristal 2009 & a bottle of iconic Dom Pérignon. The Louis Roederer Cristal 2009 is a rare top echelon blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with a rich and luminous apricot colour, tiny bubbles and vibrant notes of white flesh fruits that settle into a clotted cream fullness, and ending with softly toasted cashews. Dom Pérignon is a wine with the immediate impression of the mildness of the pure, airy, bright bouquet. A floral, fruity pastel tone then unfolds and quickly darkens into candied fruit, ripe hay and toasted notes, along with hints of licorice.

SNOWGOOSE
CHERRIES

Every year, John Antico AM oversees the packing of 2.5 million kilos of his delectable Australian cherries. So, it’s no surprise that when it comes to these fruity favourites, John knows which ones are the best. John’s Snowgoose cherries are the biggest, plumpest and juiciest you can devour. Left a little longer on the trees than regular cherries, they build their sugar content to deliver unrivalled flavour. What’s more, John guarantees his cherries will be 100% sheer cherry perfection.

DOM PÉRIGNON
VINTAGE 2006

The weather in 2006 was mixed, but warm and dry overall, creating a wine with the immediate impression of the mildness of the pure, airy, bright bouquet. A floral, fruity pastel tone then unfolds and quickly darkens into candied fruit, ripe hay and toasted notes, along with hints of licorice. The wine’s opulence – contained and succulent, round at heart – reveals itself in the mouth. The envelope slides and stretches, and the wine becomes more complex and edgy, silkier than it is creamy.

LOUIS ROEDERER
CRISTAL 2009

The House of Roederer Cristal is considered the first Prestige Cuvee of Champagne, originally commissioned by Tsar Alexander II who wanted champagne in clear glass crystal to demonstrate its authenticity. Our sommelier has selected the Louis Roederer Cristal 2009 - a rare top echelon blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with a rich and luminous apricot colour, tiny bubbles and vibrant notes of white flesh fruits that settle into a clotted cream fullness, and ending with softly toasted cashews.
